About the Woodland Sunrise Rotary Club
The Woodland Sunrise Rotary Club (WSRC) was chartered on May 7, 1993. Our sponsoring club was the Rotary Club of Woodland. Since its inception, the WSRC has grown to almost 72 members. Our meetings are always warm, friendly and lively--even at 7 AM. In the 2007-2008 year, the WSRC raised money to support local projects and organizations. In addition, the WSRC has raised money to support numerous international humanitarian projects including the installation of O'Nil Stoves in Guatemala, purchase of prosthetic hands, and wheel chairs for un-developed countries. WSRC members have donated their time and energy to numerous community organizations, projects and events including the Yolo Invitational Cross Country Meet, the Woodland Christmas Parade, Best Show on Tracks, The Heidrick Ag History Museum, and the Plainfield School Library. |
